Key Points to Note:
Question Type:
Section A in all papers consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), which require selecting the correct answer.
Section B consists of Numerical Based Questions where candidates have to calculate the answer and enter the numerical value.
Duration:
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is a 3-hour exam with 90 questions and a total of 300 marks.
Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) are also 3-hour exams, but they include a Drawing Test in addition to MCQs and Numerical-based questions, making the total marks 400 for both papers.
Marking Scheme:
Each correct answer earns 4 marks.
For Paper 1, negative marking is applied to MCQs, with -1 mark for every incorrect answer.
There is no negative marking for Numerical Based Questions.
For Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning), the Drawing Test is evaluated separately.
