Management Aptitude Test Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for MAT 2025

Candidates must have passed one of the following exams to be eligible for MAT 2025:

  • Final Year Students: Candidates who are appearing for their final year exams in 2025 are also eligible, but they must provide proof of completing their degree by the specified deadline.

Subject Requirements

The subject requirements for different MBA programs through MAT 2025 are as follows:

  • General Management Programs (MBA/PGDM): There are no specific subject requirements for candidates applying for general MBA programs. However, candidates should have a strong academic background in any stream (arts, commerce, science).
  • Specialization Programs (MBA in HR, Marketing, Finance, etc.): Candidates must have a basic understanding of the subject matter related to their chosen specialization. It’s important to check the specific course requirements before applying.

Age Limit

  • No Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for candidates applying for MAT 2025.

Number of Attempts

  • Candidates can appear for MAT multiple times in the same year, as MAT is conducted four times a year—February, May, September, and December.

Nationality

  • Indian Nationals: Candidates must be Indian nationals to apply for MAT 2025.
