Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Care Technology (B.Sc Cardiac Care Technology)

Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Care Technology Syllabus

The B.Sc in Cardiac Care Technology is a three-year undergraduate program aimed at preparing students to become experts in the care and management of cardiovascular patients. The program includes a comprehensive understanding of cardiology, cardiac diagnostic technologies, patient care, and treatment techniques. Students will learn to operate advanced cardiac diagnostic equipment, provide patient care during heart surgeries, assist in cardiac rehabilitation, and contribute to the prevention and management of heart disease.

The course includes theoretical knowledge and practical training in cardiac imaging, ECG, stress tests, angiography, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), making students well-equipped to assist cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.

Graduates can work in hospitals, cardiac care units, research labs, medical equipment companies, and even take up roles in teaching and training.
