Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune (DPU), established on January 11, 2003, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, is a deemed-to-be university located in Pimpri, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Founded by Dr. D. Y. Patil, the institution began with a focus on medical education and has since evolved into a multidisciplinary university known for its academic excellence and healthcare services.
